the phoenix arose from her ashes, scott summers turned up alive,
the leaders of the omegas came back full throttle, and a vision was
seen of death and destruction at the hands of the mutant cure that
the humans call "hope", ringing in the new year with trepidation.

FEBRUARY - FEBRUARY - FEBRUARY
weapon x unleashed some weapons to hunt down the missing known
as wolverine and sabertooth, the brotherhood saw the return of its
leader magneto in human form, and the president of the united states
saw his wife murdered at the hands of a mutant, heightening tension
between humans and mutants more than it already was.

MARCH - MARCH - MARCH
a splinter group of the brotherhood of mutants disrupted the st. paddy's
day parade, which quickly turned into an all out brawl between mutants
and humans. the cure guns were called in, causing many mutants to be
cured against their will, and it was in the midst of this that the secret
program known as the sentinel project was unveiled, putting a stop to the
battle. teams have begun to fall apart as a result.

THE TIME IS NOW - THE TIME IS NOW - THE TIME IS NOW
spring has come to north salem, but hearts are heavy with the latest
events. and now it seems that the cure, that "hope", so widely hailed last
year has hit a defect ... cured mutants are slowly beginning to see changes
in their everyday appearance, their powers are slowly beginning to work
again. but it all comes at a heavy price. mutant bodies are rejecting the
cure, growing sick with disease. it is believed that before summer arrives
many more mutants will die, and a declaration of war will be made.
